AppVerix Invoices: Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you (the Shopify merchant who installs the app) and AppVerix ("we"). By installing AppVerix Invoices you agree to them.

1. What the app does

The app makes PDF invoices, packing slips and credit notes from your Shopify orders, numbers them, and can email invoices to your customers. It reads your orders through Shopify's API and doesn't change them.

2. Price and billing

  • One plan: $9 USD every 30 days, with a 7-day free trial.
  • Shopify bills you on your Shopify invoice. We never see your card.
  • To cancel, uninstall the app. Shopify stops the charge. We don't refund partial periods unless Shopify's rules or the law require it.
  • If we change the price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before, and you'll be asked to approve the new charge in Shopify.

3. Your responsibilities

  • The invoices are your documents. You're responsible for the details you enter (company name, address, tax ID, numbering) and for checking that the invoices meet the rules in your country.
  • The app is not a tax or fiscal system. It doesn't file anything with tax authorities. In Brazil, the "Recibo" layout is an order receipt, not an NF-e or NFS-e. The EU VAT layout prints a reverse-charge note when the order data suggests it; you must check that this is right for your sales.
  • Customer emails: if auto-email is on, the app emails invoices to the address on the order on your behalf. You must have a lawful basis to send them, which you normally have because they are a record of the customer's own purchase.
  • Don't use the app for anything illegal or to send emails other than invoices.

4. Data

How we handle data is in our Privacy Policy. For your customers' data, you are the controller and we are your processor.

5. Availability and changes

We try to keep the app running, but we don't promise it will never be down. Invoices are generated from your Shopify order data, so if the app is unavailable your orders are not affected. We may change or improve features; if we remove something you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.

6. Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses (such as lost profit or tax penalties), and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

7. Ending

You can stop at any time by uninstalling. We may suspend or end your use if you break these terms, with notice where reasonable. After you uninstall, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction, unless consumer or other mandatory law in your country says otherwise.
